Major Worlds of the Omnisphere Imperium

"Fierce Beauty."

— Motto of House Lytherius

The Omnisphere Imperium is the oldest of the Great Houses and the civilization that most openly claims the legacy of the Golden Empire. Ruled by House Lytherius from Celestia Prime, the Imperium places great importance on tradition, culture, lineage, and the preservation of humanity's historical achievements.

To outsiders, the Imperium can appear aristocratic, ceremonial, and obsessed with the past. To its citizens, these traditions represent continuity with thousands of years of civilization.

The Imperium fields a formidable military, but its greatest strength lies in the prestige of its institutions and the loyalty of its people.

Celestia Prime is one of the most beautiful worlds in known space. Magnificent cities, ancient monuments, imperial palaces, and carefully preserved historical districts cover much of its surface.

Many of the Imperium's most important cultural institutions are located here, including archives, museums, and academies whose histories stretch back centuries.

To many Imperials, Celestia Prime represents the soul of their civilization.

Galathor

Population: 300 Million

A rugged fortress world located along important strategic approaches to Imperium territory.

Massive defensive installations, ancient fortresses, and military academies dominate much of the landscape.

Despite its relatively small population, Galathor has played a critical role in numerous wars throughout Imperium history.

Kyndros

Population: 700 Million

One of the Imperium's primary agricultural worlds.

Rolling plains, fertile valleys, and carefully maintained farming regions support large populations and provide food exports throughout Imperial territory.

Many noble houses maintain ancestral estates on Kyndros.

Lumithar

Population: 600 Million

A world dedicated to scholarship, philosophy, and higher learning.

Its universities are among the oldest in the Core and attract students from every major House.

Lumithar's scholars often serve as advisors, historians, diplomats, and administrators throughout the Imperium.

Nythoros

Population: 1.2 Billion

One of the Imperium's most important industrial worlds.

Shipyards, manufacturing districts, and heavy industry support both civilian and military production.

Though less glamorous than Celestia Prime, Nythoros remains essential to the Imperium's continued strength.

Morventhar

Population: 1.8 Billion

A densely populated world known for its sprawling cities and vibrant urban culture.

Morventhar serves as one of the primary economic and population centers of the Imperium.

Its markets, universities, and cultural institutions draw visitors from across human space.

Seraphsis

Population: 1.6 Billion

The spiritual heart of the Imperium.

Ancient temples, monumental architecture, and countless cultural landmarks cover the planet.

Many of the traditions and ceremonies that define Imperial identity originated on Seraphsis.

Pilgrimages to its historic sites remain common among Imperial citizens.

Aeloria

Population: 900 Million

A center of scientific and artistic achievement.

Aeloria combines research institutions with cultural academies, producing both technological innovation and artistic excellence.

The world reflects the Imperium's belief that knowledge and beauty should advance together.

Kethos

Population: 1.3 Billion

A resource-rich industrial world that supplies much of the raw material required by the Imperium.

Mining complexes, refineries, and manufacturing centers dominate many regions of the planet.

Kethos provides the industrial foundation upon which much of Imperial prosperity is built.

The Imperial Character

The worlds of the Omnisphere Imperium are united by a profound respect for history.

Imperial citizens see themselves not merely as members of a modern state, but as participants in a civilization stretching back through countless generations.

This perspective shapes everything from government and education to architecture and military tradition.

Critics sometimes accuse the Imperium of living in the past.

Imperials often respond that civilizations survive because they remember where they came from.

To them, history is not a burden.

It is the foundation upon which the future is built.

The Imperial Legacy

Among all the Great Houses, none identifies more strongly with the legacy of the Golden Empire than House Lytherius.

Imperial historians, artists, and statesmen have spent centuries preserving records, traditions, and institutions that might otherwise have been lost.

Whether this represents genuine stewardship or simple nostalgia remains a matter of debate throughout the Core.

Yet even the Imperium's critics acknowledge one truth:

No House remembers the past more clearly than the Imperium.
