Overview
Born from Union doctrine that no enemy should leave the field unscathed, the Crossfire bristles with overlapping weapon arcs—Vulkan cannon, rockets, lasers, and autogun. It was intended for siege and suppression, saturating kill zones until nothing remained. Pilots often joked that standing in its line of fire was like being caught between two armies—hence the name Crossfire.
